Looks like they added a lot more features, and also a feature that is desperately needed: stop motion. I've followed Toon Boom for years, and am glad that they offer all kinds of bundles: kids, teens, family, and pro packets for added deals! There are special deals going on right now during the Christmas season! I'm so tempted to get Studio, but even at almost 50% off, it's still money... ;)

Toon Boom is a great product for animators wanting to make flash cartoons and animations but not have to learn Flash.
Toon Boom works on the exposure sheet metaphor and allows you a great freedom to draw or import from Illustrator or Flash projects.
Where the product really excells is in the scene building area. Toon Boom allows you to quickly create complex 3dimensional camera moves and animation effects.
The program is quick to learn and very straight forward. The company provides a few good tutorials to get you started and it's own web members board where fellow Toon Boom users can answer a lot of your questions.
The Mac version is missing a few features that the PC version has , but the company has promised that the upcoming release of V2 on the mac will bring the mac side up to the PC side. But sadly the company has been delaying the V@ for a LONG time. There are many vicious rants about this on the web site - but the product still has great features and as long as you are willing to wait you should be fine.
